Coaching Psychologist
I am a licensed coaching psychologist in private practice with a primary office located in Framingham, Massachusetts.
I have been in private practice since 2005. My specialties include weight management, stress management, and relationship coaching for couples. Currently my primary focus is helping clients with weight issues to get to their ideal weight and maintain it for the long haul. Many existing weight loss programs emphasize either diet or exercise. They also lack a third component critical for long-term weight loss success. And this is a healthy mindset (which includes emotional management). Without this, once clients are off their diet or exercise regimen, many eventually regain the weight, if not actually put on a few more pounds. My program, Shed The Pounds For Good, is unique in that all three elements of successful weight loss and maintenance are integrated--diet, exercise, AND mindset. The program is based on research findings and effective intervention for weight loss. We work closely with our clients so they can achieve their ideal weight quickly, safely, and nutritiously. While on this program, clients can expect to lose 2-5 pounds a week for the first 2 weeks and a pound a week thereafter. The program is divided into 3 phases: the Preparation Phase, the Weight Loss Phase, and the Weight Maintenance Phase. Clients are fully supported and held accountable throughout the three phases. Within a few weeks into the program, they can expect to experience more energy, fit into a smaller jean size, feel healthier, and be infused with more inner confidence. Weight loss is a professional and also personal endeavor for me. I've struggled with yo-yo dieting, emotional, mindless eating in the past until I learned the strategies for maintaining my healthy weight.
