An ongoing undercover investigation at Valero Gas by the Sudbury Police Department ended with two men being arrested on multiple drug charges Tuesday night. Arrested was Maged Askandar, 23 of 49 Nickerson Road, Braintree. He is charged with: Also arrested was Ashraf A. Youssef, 50, of 243 West Main St., Hopkinton. He is charged with: Both men were held overnight and transported to Framingham District Court Wednesday morning for their arraignment. A motor vehicle stop by the Sudbury Police Department on Friday morning, March 9, resulted in the arrest of a Braintree woman. According to Lt. Robert Grady, Janice Doolin, 55, of 501 Commerce Drive, Apt. 1310, was pulled over on Boston Post Road at about 9:35 a.m. and charged with obstructing traffic and a marked lanes violation. But during the investigation, the responding officer also found Doolin was driving on a revoked license. Grady said Doolin also attempted to give the officer a false name during questioning. The officer added charges of operating a motor vehicle on a revoked license and giving a false name to a police officer to Doolin's arrest report. As of 10:30 a.m., Doolin was still in custody. Jamie Johnson of Braintree is wanted for allegedly stealing $12K during house break.
UPDATE: Thursday, Feb. 16, 6:20 p.m. The attorney for a 35-year-old Braintree man arrested for allegedly breaking into a home at 369 Old Lancaster Road on Feb. 8 says his client was not in Sudbury the night of the house break and the Commonwealth of Masschusetts hasn't proved otherwise. Jamie Johnson, a Braintree resident, turned himself into Sudbury police late Thursday morning to face charges including felony larceny and vandalism of property. He was transported to Framingham District Court for his arraignment, where defense attorney Mike Mattson argued the police have the wrong guy.
