Another Storm Could Hit Braintree this Weekend

As Braintree cleans up from the blizzard this past weekend, more snow could be on the horizon.

The groundhog may have predicted an early spring, but we're still in the dead of winter, and there's more snow on the way. Expect snow Wednesday night and Thursday morning, according to the National Weather Service, but that will just be a dusting compared to what could happen this weekend. AccuWeather's forcast shows the possibility for a major storm to affect New England Saturday and Sunday. There continues to be some indication that a major storm will affect the Eastern states and neighboring Canada this weekend. The storm would be part of a series of potentially major weather events through the end of February.... UPDATE 4:30 p.m.: Braintree After School Enrichment shared this info on Facebook this afternoon: "Braintree Public Schools have a ONE HOUR DELAY on Tuesday, February 12th. What this means for our MORNING BASE families that have MORNING BASE at the elementary schools is an 8AM opening. THIS APPLIES TO MORNING BASE AT THE ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS ONLY. 8 AM opening at Highlands, Hollis, Liberty, Ross, Morrison and Hollis morning BASE.
