Bling Boutique is an independent retailer located on Washington Street in Braintree.

When Nadine Aniello-Kubiak was a girl, she not only loved to play dress up, she also styled her friends' clothing, eventually turning that passion and an entrepreneurial drive into a successful clothing shop in Braintree. Bugaboo Creek Gets Music Permit, Jared Jewelers Coming Soon

D.J. Quirk also received permission from the Braintree license Board this week for a used auto parts license contingent on a real estate transaction.

Weekend soft rock will come to Bugaboo Creek Steak House, Jared the Galleria of Jewelry will open within the next few weeks and automotive empire Quirk Auto will have new property for dealing used car parts following the Board of License Commissioner's meeting earlier this week. Bugaboo Creek, on John W. Mahar Highway, successfully petitioned board members for a weekly entertainment license to be used on Friday and Saturday nights. Restaurant representatives said they will bring in small bands or solo acts to perform in one corner of the establishment, replacing one, eight-seat table. No Relief for Viola Restaurante in Lost Liquor License

The same force – economic distress – that put Braintree restaurateur Joseph Viola in the position of fighting for his alcohol license on Tuesday failed to convince officials that he deserved another chance. Viola and his attorney pleaded with the Board of License Commissioners for time to market and sell Viola Restaurante's all-alcohol license so that he could pay significant debts, but members declined to give Viola the opportunity, citing state law and his failure over the course of several months to cover a bounced check that was supposed to buy his annual renewal nearly a year ago. The board voted unanimously to cancel Viola's license, and therefore it did not take up the matter of the restaurant closing without notice earlier this …
