Where's Santa? Track Him Live from Braintree!

The North American Aerospace Defense Command has a website that now offers a Santa tracker mobile app to follow the jolly man's magical flight.

They sent him their wish lists, sat on his lap and left cookies and milk for his arrival. Now the only thing left for children to do is track Santa's progress as he delivers gifts around the world on Christmas Eve. Thanks to the folks behind the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) website, families worldwide can now follow Santa's Christmas journey in real time. The tradition started in 1955 after an advertisement for Sears Roebuck & Co. misprinted a telephone number for a special "Santa hotline." Instead of reaching Kris Kringle, the number put kids through to the Continental Air Defense Command (CONAD) Commander-in-Chief’s operations, according to a description on the NORAD Tracks Santa Facebook page, which has more than one…

Last Day to Pose Pets with Santa at South Shore Plaza This Sunday

The Plaza Plaza hosts its last Pet Photos with Santa this Sunday, Dec. 16 from 7:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.

The four-legged members of the family are invited to join the holiday fun at South Shore Plaza and have their own turn on Santa’s lap. This is the purrr-fect chance to capture a moment of your furry friend celebrating Christmas cheer. This special, pet-friendly opportunity is in addition to Santa’s regular hours. Santa’s‘Elegant Garden’ located this year in the Nordstrom Wing, Level 1 was  relocated from Macy’s Court, Level 1. Caring Santa is a special event dedicated to families that have children with special needs, providing a subdued environment to visit with Santa.

South Shore Plaza announced today that it will hold a Caring Santa™ event this holiday season on Sunday, Dec. 2 from  8 a.m to 10 a.m. Caring Santa is a special event dedicated to families that have children with special needs, providing a subdued environment to visit The Santa Photo Experience. Santa Arrives at South Shore Plaza This Friday

Santa’s ‘Elegant Garden’ is located this year in the Nordstrom Wing, Level 1.

With Halloween less than 24 hours in the rear view mirror and Thanksgiving still three weeks away, Christmas might seem like the distant future to some. But not to all the children and families who will turn out starting Friday at the South Shore Plaza to see Santa and his "Elegant Garden." Santa arrives on Friday and will be available in the Nordstrom wing on the first level during regular and extended mall hours through Monday, Dec. 24. Pose with the jolly guy and get a photo.
