State Representative Mark J. Cusack (D-Braintree) is pleased to announce that the Massachusetts Department of Transportation will be milling and paving the intersection of Washington Street at Hancock St. and Plain St in an attempt to complete the work before the winter. “I am happy to continue to work with the Massachusetts Department of Transportation to get Braintree’s State roads the attention that they need and I am pleased that this work will be done before the construction season ends,” said Representative Cusack. The road construction will begin tonight, Thursday October 25th at 9:00PM and the paving will commence next week. The town has announced road resurfacing for Oct. 15 through Oct. 19.
For parts of the next three days of this week, a number of Braintree roads will be resurfaced and the town is encouraging residents to avoid travel in these areas during this time and to park on nearby streets. State Representative Mark J. Cusack (D-Braintree) has announced that the Massachusetts Department of Transportation has moved forward with its plans to repave Route 37 in Braintree. “I have heard from many constituents over the past couple of years about the condition of State roads in Braintree and I am happy that the Department of Transportation is fulfilling its commitment to repair them,” said Representative Mark Cusack. “Five corners and the Franklin Street section of Route 37 are major roads in Braintree and they are getting the attention they deserve.
