The Braintree Pop Warner A Team Cheerleaders, fresh from their national championship, arrived at Town Hall from Logan Airport Sunday morning. They beat 11 other teams from around the country in the Midget Cheer Level 2 Medium division, scoring 89.98 percent and beating the second placed Blackstone Valley Pop Warner by slightly more than 1 percent. The team's fundraising effort also continues. The four-day trip to Florida cost approximately $25,000. Both the Braintree Pop Warner B Team football team and cheerleaders experienced outstanding success this season, and were honored accordingly by the Town Council on Tuesday night in a ceremony that jammed full the Town Hall auditorium. "These kids worked and worked and worked," football coach Keith Reissfelder said. The football team took the Hockomock League Superbowl Championship against Sharon on Nov. 20 in Dedham, winning a tight game and caping a one-loss season.
