Multimedia Gallery: Braintree's Sunset Lake Concert Series and Party in the Park

The Heritage House Blues Band performed on Tuesday in Braintree as audience members were treated to free grilled treats.

On Tuesday evening, dozens of Braintree residents turned up at Sunset Lake for the second-to-last BELD-sponsored concert of the summer and the final "Party in the Park." The Heritage House Blues Band performed and Mayor Joseph Sullivan and the Recreation Department served up free hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, snacks and beverages.  Among the tables set up on Tuesday were the Braintree branch of Keller Williams Realty and also Patch.com. The Reminsants will perform on Tuesday, Aug. 7 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Braintree Party in the Park at Sunset Lake Tuesday as Part of Concert Series

The party starts at 6 p.m. on July 31 and continues as part of the outdoor Sunset Lake Concert Series.

Mayor Joseph C. Sullivan and the Braintree Recreation Department are offering this summer’s last Party-in-the Park on Tuesday evening, July 31st at Sunset Lake. Sponsored by Braintree Electric Light Department (BELD), the Party begins at 6 p.m. as part of our outdoor Sunset Concert Series featuring live musical entertainment of the Heritage House Blues Band. The grills will be heated for free hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, snacks and beverages. Please join us and enjoy the festivities. Come early and don’t forget to bring your lawn chair or blanket. Party in the Park at Penniman on Wednesday Hosted By Braintree Mayor, Rec Dept

The second edition of Braintree's Parties-in-the-Parks series is at Penniman Park on July 25.

Mayor Joseph C. Sullivan and the Braintree Recreation Department are offering this summer’s second of three Parties-in-the Parks. On Wednesday evening, July 25th, we will be visiting Penniman Park located on Cleveland Avenue next to the Department of Elder Affairs (formerly the Council on Aging) from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The grills will be heated for free hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, snacks and beverages. Our DJ will play the music. There will be group games, activities and fun for all. It’s all free and it will be a great neighborhood/family cookout. Please join us.
