Nor'easter Could Blow Through on Wednesday

The storm could drop 1 to 2 inches of rain late Wednesday into Thursday and bring wind gusts along the coast.

A little more than a week after 'superstorm' Sandy swept through Massachusetts, residents may have to brace for another windy, rainy night on Wednesday.  A nor'easter could blow into the area mid-week and the storm could drop 1 to 2 inches of rain from Wednesday into Thursday, according to WHDH meteorologist Jeremy Rainer.  Rainer also wrote that coastal winds could gust between 40 and 60 miles per hour along the South Shore, Cape Cod and the islands, although winds "will be much lighter inland with this storm." The National Weather Service (NWS) issued a hazardous weather outlook statement on Sunday afternoon, saying that strong to damaging northeast winds are likely especially across Eastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island late Wednesday …
