A National Grid project to connect gas pipe from its facility near Weymouth Landing to Twin Rivers Technology in Quincy hinges on an agreement with Braintree officials to provide at least $100,000 in the form of a furnace for a nearby town building and a sponsorship for Braintree's 4th of July celebration. Braintree High School student athletes were awarded citations by the Town Council on Tuesday night at Town Hall for their success during the 2011-2012 winter season.
