Braintree police are looking for two women who stole more than $250 worth of clothing from the South Shore Plaza on March 18. "The two females took price tags and sensors off of the clothing before fleeing with the stolen property in bags," according to the law enforcement website MassMostWanted.com. Braintree police are looking for a man who stole approximately $1,785 worth of ties from Banana Republic at the South Shore Plaza. The man placed an entire display of 30 ties worth $59.50 each in a bag and fled the store on March 13, according to the law enforcement website MassMostWanted.com. Braintree detectives are looking for a suspect in an attempted armed robbery at a gas station on Granite Street earlier this year. Police posted a description and photos of the suspect carrying a gun to the law enforcement website MassMostWanted.com. The suspect was partially masked and described as a white male with a slim build in his early 20s and about 5 feet 9 inches tall. He approached and fled on foot, north on Granite Street (Rt. 37) on Jan. 20, 2013. The Braintree Police Department is seeking any information regarding suspect identification or similar incidents. Braintree police are looking for a white male who took a women's purse after she left it in a cart in the Target parking lot on Jan. 30. Minutes after the victim left her bag in the cart after loading her items in her car, the suspect, accompanied by a female, took the purse and walked away, according to a description of the crime posted by Braintree police on Mass Most Wanted. The purse included a license, phone, credit cards, cash and other items. Braintree Lt. Det. Michael R. Moschella is investigating the case and can be reached at 781-794-8765.

Braintree police are looking for a white male who tried to use a counterfeit $100 bill at CVS at the South Shore Plaza to purchase a Wendy's gift card. The man, 5 feet 7 inches tall, around 20-25 years old and about 210 pounds, entered the CVS on Tuesday, Jan. 15, according to MassMostWanted. "He was wearing a gray New York Yankees baseball hat, gray hooded zip up sweatshirt with Brooklyn written in red across the chest, dark jeans and brown sneakers." Last Tuesday, March 20, at around 2:30 p.m., a man shoplifted an unknown amount of product from Shaw's in Braintree, according to information on Massmostwanted.com. Braintree police are looking for the suspect, who appears to have a tattoo on his right forearm. "The subject concealed all items in reusable Shaw’s bags and exited through the produce entrance," the MassMostWanted report says. Braintree police are looking for three suspects in a counterfeit check scheme that happened at Target on Feb. 19, according to information on MassMostWanted.com. At about 5 p.m. the suspects made two transactions using counterfeit $100 American Express checks. A white male stole two Michael Kors handbags from a store at the South Shore Plaza on Friday, Feb. 10, according to information on Massmostwanted.com. The suspect was seen fleeing in an older model blue sedan parked in the fire lane, the site reported. The vehicle may have been a blue Honda.
