Multi-Skilled Braintree Yoga Instructor also a Playwright While Teaching Across Europe

Brian Culkin, founder of Jai Yoga in Braintree, is spreading his unique philosophy on yoga and the power of human potential throughout Europe and has written plays on the nature of life and death.

Success has come to Braintree native Brian Culkin in a variety of ways throughout his relatively young life – as a NCAA Division 3 basketball player, a financial executive, yoga studio owner and now an inspirational leadership consultant to high-powered clients across Europe. Recently, Culkin turned his energy and intellect toward a new endeavor that combines his experiences. The Thayer Academy graduate is using philosophical ideas about the potential of human beings, emotional lessons from teaching intense, mind-opening seminars, and his sense of humor to write plays that he hopes to publish and produce for wide audiences. Culkin has also written articles focused on yoga for national online magazines, and one of his plays, No One Leaves …

Jai Yoga Owner Spreads Message from Braintree to Europe

Braintree native Brian Culkin will be spreading his singular message throughout Europe in the upcoming months.

Brian Culkin, founder/owner of Jai Yoga, is bringing his unique philosophy on yoga and the power of human potential to studios and companies in Europe this summer.  Performing workshops in Iceland and consulting corporations and groups with Oslo, Norway as a base, Culkin endeavors to put his theorems about the strength of the individual in practice throughout the world. "Yoga or even a management philosophy should be a servant to the individual," Culkin said. "The moment you have a reversal of that flow the potentials of an individual become markedly less. In many ways the person becomes a slave to the very thing he was suppose master. I've seen it happen many times." Having studied at the Esalen Institue as well as the Sivananda Bahamas …

Author, psychotherapist, creative consultant, leadership coach and Braintree native Dr. Ron Alexander, through his Open Mind Institute and his first book Wise Mind, Open Mind: Finding Purpose & Meaning in Times of Crisis, Loss & Change, is at the forefront of a mind-body instruction and healing movement that is transforming the way people use meditation. Jai Yoga Expands Braintree's Consciousness

Jai Yoga, a progressive new yoga studio, brings a unique philosophy to South Braintree Square.

Jai Yoga, set to open in Braintree on Nov. 15, teaches students to take command of their bodies, minds and health and is another step into the 21st century for ever-expanding South Braintree Square. Offering a varied slate of classes and workshops at Jai Yoga (pronounced with a soft "j" -- Sanskrit for "victory"), owner Brian Culkin views his latest project as more than just a yoga studio. With an eye toward modernity and the metaphysical, Culkin envisions the space to be a crossroads of classic values and current societal mores. "I want it to be a cool place but keep the integrity of yoga," Culkin said. The entrance of Jai Yoga is quite the new age lounge. With a tea bar, an expansive book case full of thought-provoking tomes, and a large…

I strongly believe people should know the truth about Brian Culkin. He was a member of scientology cult from 2009-2010. He departed in 2010 and befriends many ex-scientologist and pretended to be their "friends". He got close to many and got their personal informations and in exchange of over $350,000.00 he sold those informations to the cult leader David Miscavige. Knowing what he did, he …   more ›
