Thayer Public Library will host author Shelley Sommer on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at 6 p.m. If you love baseball, don’t miss this exciting opportunity to learn more about the history of this beloved sport when local author Shelley Sommer visits the Thayer Public Library on Tuesday, July 31. The author of the teen book, Hammerin' Hank Greenberg, Shelley will speak about this famous baseball player’s life and the exciting process of digging into historical records to uncover his story. Presented as part of One Braintree, One Book, this event is not to be missed! All programs are free and open to the public. You do not have to be a resident of Braintree to attend.
