BHS Girls Hockey Season Dedicated to Team 'Hockey Mom'

On Wednesday, Dec. 12 at Zapustas Rink, as the first puck of the season drops, the Lady Wamps hockey team will honor Paula Connelly by dedicating the season in her memory.

Girls Hockey Ends Season With Tough Overtime Loss to Arlington Catholic

The Braintree High School girls varsity ice hockey team made it to the MIAA semi-finals this season, losing to Arlington Catholic 3-2 in overtime.

“The price of success is hard work, dedication to the job at hand, and the determination that whether we win or lose, we have applied the best of ourselves to the task at hand…” and anyone who followed had an opportunity to watch or be part of the Lady Wamps' 2012 MIAA hockey tournament run knows exactly what Vince Lombardi meant.  Throughout the tournament the BHS girls hockey program played some of the best hockey in Massachusetts. Even in the overtime loss to Arlington Catholic on Saturday night, the Braintree girls played tirelessly. Congratulations Lady Wamps on a great year and thanks for all the periods of outstanding hockey. You have brought praise and recognition upon yourselves.
