More Snow to Pile up Saturday in Braintree
The storm is likely to taper off by Saturday night.
After raging through the night with wind gusts approaching 50 miles per hour and snow piling up to 20 inches or more, the blizzard that struck Braintree and the rest of Massachusetts Friday will likely continue through Saturday afternoon, adding as much as another foot of snow to the area. Heavy snow could last until 4 p.m., with lesser precipitation continuing until 8 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.
