The Democratic National Convention is in Charlotte, NC from Sept. 3 through Sept. 6, 2012.
During the first week of September, 136 people from Massachusetts will head to Charlotte, NC to cast their votes for the 2012 Democratic presidential nominee – by all accounts President Barack Obama. Among them will be unpledged delegates – office holders such as Gov. Deval Patrick and U.S. Sen. John Kerry – but 110 of the delegates are categorized by the Democratic party as unpledged, ranging from relative unknowns involved in local politics to mayors, city councilors and district attorneys.
