In November, Brownie Troop #74555 and Junior Troop #73418 created centerpieces for the annual Thanksgiving dinner for Father Bill's Place. For nearly 20 years, FBMS has hosted a Thanksgiving community dinner at the Christ Episcopal Church, Quincy, providing a complimentary meal to individuals and families in need. Volunteers and Father Bill’s Place staff served 160 meals Thanksgiving morning this year and the Braintree Girl Scout Troop #73418 & 74555 provided homemade centerpieces with positive messages of giving thanks for the tables. In December, each troop sponsored a child through the DeVanna center and using a total of $250 of their earnings from selling cookies last year donated a variety of gifts on 2 girls' wish lists.
