A 28-year-old Hanover man died after a one-car crash on Route 3 south on Friday night. The man was driving a 2005 BMW 525I south of Exit 17 in Braintree when he lost control of his car and went off the shoulder of the road. The man, who was the only occupant of the vehicle, was taken to South Shore Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 7:35 p.m., according to police. State Police closed one lane while investigating the crash scene Friday night. They have not identified the victim and continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
