Braintree Youth Hockey Squirts Take Cape Cod Classic
Braintree beat Ludlow in the championship game.
The Cape Cod Classic was recently held March 15-17in Orleans, MA. Braintree Youth Hockey Squirts C3 finished Round Robin play 2-0-1 with victories over Danvers III 7-1, Westfield 5-1 and a tie against Ludlow 3-3. In the championship game versus Ludlow held on March 17, Braintree came through just 30 seconds into overtime to earn a hard fought 5-4 victory! Excellent program! The kids love it and are learning so much. It also gives the kids an opportunity to learn the basics and get the chance to play the game, even if they weren't ready for the "A" level of play.
