National Champion Braintree Cheerleaders Return from Florida

The squad continues to raise funds to pay for its trip to Orlando, FL.

The Braintree Pop Warner A Team Cheerleaders, fresh from their national championship, arrived at Town Hall from Logan Airport Sunday morning. They beat 11 other teams from around the country in the Midget Cheer Level 2 Medium division, scoring 89.98 percent and beating the second placed Blackstone Valley Pop Warner by slightly more than 1 percent. The team's fundraising effort also continues. The four-day trip to Florida cost approximately $25,000.
