Braintree Man Charged with Gang Feud Shooting

The following is from the Office of the Suffolk County District Attorney: A Braintree man was arraigned yesterday for allegedly firing at one man and shooting a second last week as part of an ongoing feud between two rival street gangs, Suffolk County District Attorney Daniel F. Conley said. PAUL WALROND (D.O.B. 8/9/90) was formally charged yesterday in Roxbury District Court with two counts each of armed assault with intent to murder, unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, and discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a building for incidents on March 7 and 8. Braintree Man Arrested in Roxbury Shooting

A 22-year-old Braintree man was charged with assault with intent to murder and other crimes following a shooting Friday in Roxbury. Paul Walrond allegedly tried to escape from the window of his car when police saw him in a vehicle matching a description from the scene, according to the Boston Globe. The victim was shot multiple times but is in stable condition. Boston Police: Braintree Man Tries to Get Away from Steel Heist in U-Haul

Crime news from the Boston Police Department.

The following is from the Boston Police Department via bpdnews.com. "At about 8:55am, on Saturday, February 16, 2013, officers from District A-7 (East Boston) responded to a call for two males in a U-Haul truck stealing metal out of the Marina Yard. On arrival, officers spoke to a witness who stated that two individuals driving a U-Haul truck broke into the work yard (belonging to White Marine Inc) and starting stealing what was described as custom galvanized steel. A search of the yard for the suspects proved unsuccessful. Officers spoke to an employee of the yard who stated that approximately five thousand dollars worth of steel had been stolen.
