I took my daughter there last year and I wouldn't let her in the water. Does anyone know if it has been cleaned this year??

This small lake off Franklin Street boasts wide-open views, a spewing water fountain, and plenty of parking. Rough sand rings the lake and an elegant gazebo adds a touch of whimsy. There's fishing, swimming (with lifeguards present), a playground and picnic tables. And don't miss the geese chasing seagulls away from their food. Plenty of benches also form a half-circle around the lake front, perfect for watching a sunset or resting after a long day on the water.

Sunset lake is a nice, peaceful place to sit with many benches. They have concerts here in the summer. There is also a playground. The town did some improvements which included porous pavement and rain gardens.
