Teen Craft Extravaganza

Thayer Public Library. Logan Auditorium. 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16.

Teens ages 12-17 can spend the afternoon designing and then creating any project they want using the library's large art and craft supply collection. Let your imagination run wild and learn new skills, too! We'll have a few brief craft demonstrations, followed by lots of free time to develop and explore your own project, plus games, craft challenges, and prizes.

Registration required.

Heritage United Methodist Youth invite Braintree Community to support Operation Christmas Child

Sunday, Nov. 17. 10 a.m.

For the fifth year in a row, the youth of the Heritage United Methodist Church are collecting toys, school supplies and toiletries to pack special shoe boxes in support of Operation Christmas Child.

COMEDY SHOW AT SONS OF ITALY

Sons of Italy Hall, 161 King Hill Road, Braintree MA. Saturday, Nov. 16. 7 p.m.

Enjoy three of the area's top comics, including Weymouth local Bobby Niles, in a cabaret atmosphere. Bring your own table snacks or order pizzas from King Hill Pizza in the Member's Lounge. Cash bar. $20 per person; tables of 8 or 10 available. All proceeds benefit the Ladies' Lodge 1422 Scholarship Fund and other club charities. Call 781-964-3597 to reserve tickets.
