Free Organ Concert at St. Francis of Assisi Church

On Sunday November 10, Deacon Joe MacDonald will present an organ recital at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 856 Washington Street, Braintree, at 5 pm. The recital will benefit the Angel’s Voice Orphanage in Haiti. Deacon Joe will perform works by Bach, Couperin, Boellmann and others.  Admission is free. A free will offering will be taken up for the orphanage. 

MacDonald is an accomplished organist and choir director at the church.  One concert selection will be Bach's Cantata and Fugue, one of the most famous and well-known pieces of music of all time.

Bring Your Pets to Visit Santa at South Shore Plaza

Family pets are invited to join in the holiday fun at South Shore Plaza and have their own turn on Santa's lap on Sunday's in November and December. This is the purr-fect chance to capture a moment of your pet celebrating Christmas cheer! This special pet-friendly opportunity is in addition to Santa's regular hours.

**All pets must be leashed or crated**

Tai Chi at Thayer Public Library

Tai Chi/Qi Gong Instructor Peggy Leung, R.N., demonstrates Tai Chi, The Healing Dance - natural movement for healthy living. Benefit from the “wisdom of Man and Nature” in these easy to follow movements. Suitable for beginners, no experience necessary. Wear comfortable clothes. No sign up necessary. You do not have to be a Braintree resident to attend.

'Kismet' Performance at Braintree High

The Braintree High School Theatre Guild presents Kismet, directed by Rolf I. Carlson. The performances wrap up Saturday, Nov. 9 at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. Click here for more information and ticket info.
