Red Cross, Sox, Beth Israel Team Up to Honor Braintree Blood Donor

Fans are invited to enter to win by volunteering to donate blood to help patients in need.

Braintree resident Mildred O’Connor recently had the experience of a lifetime when she was honored on the field at Fenway Park prior to the Boston Red Sox game against the Chicago White Sox on July 9.

Mildred O’Connor was named the Blood Donor of the Game after recently donating blood at an American Red Cross blood drive.

Together with the Boston Red Sox and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, the American Red Cross is proud to honor lucky presenting donors with the Blood Donor of the Game Program.
