Braintree's 2013 SEPAC Inclusion Awards Dedicated to Superintendent Kurzberg

The purpose of this award is to celebrate and recognize those individuals who support and foster inclusion in Braintree.

The annual awards ceremony dedicated to people in Braintree who foster inclusion will be held this year in honor of Superintendent Dr. Peter Kurzberg, retiring in June after 22 years of service.

The Braintree Special Education Parent Advisory Council has nominated 11 people this year for the Inclusion Award. A ceremony hosted by Mayor Joseph Sullivan will take place at Town Hall at 7 p.m. this Thursday, May 23.

"Inclusion means that ALL children and youth are given equal opportunity to participate in the community. More specifically, children and youth with special needs are participating alongside their typical peers," according to SEPAC.
