Braintree Police Sport Pink Handcuffs for Breast Cancer Awareness

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Pink handcuffs have begun making their annual appearance on the Braintree Police Department night shift in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The department posted a photo of the cuffs to its Twitter feed shortly after midnight Thursday morning. The BPD's Twitter avatar will also feature a pink ribbon during October.

Braintree firefighters have also swapped their everyday blue department shirts for pink ones in support of the fight against Breast Cancer.
