Wamps Boys Hockey Finishes Regular Season, Trouncing Brockton 9-1

Braintree High athletes were honored before the game on Thursday, Feb. 23 for Senior Night.

The boys varsity hockey team finished its regular season last Thursday by beating Brockton in a route of 9-1.

This year’s team completed an impressive season with a record of 12-6-3. They had a run of eight straight wins during the season that included wins against Weymouth, Natick, Needham and Wellesley.

The Wamps hockey program will say goodbye to four seniors this year who have represented Braintree High proudly for the past four years. They were honored at Senior Night before the game against Brockton High School. The seniors are forward Adam Kenney (C), defenseman Connor Fenton (C), forward Cody Kingston and goaltender Dan Murphy.

There is still a lot of great hockey to be played this year, as Braintre will start the playoffs soon. Go Wamps!!!
