MaxPreps Tour of Champions Honors Braintree's Lady Wamps B-Ball
Braintree's girls basketball had a 24-win season.
The 8th Annual MaxPreps Basketball Tour of Champions, which is presented by the National Guard, recently visited the Lady Wamps in Braintree to honor them for their winning season, reported MaxPreps.
The Wamps finished at number 92 in the state for the season, and won the first Division I Massachusetts state title. Only ten teams get the Army National Guard national ranking trophy.
The ceremony included the mayor, team and other dignitaries from the town, and was emceed by Athletic Director Michael Denise.
