Hometown Soccery Player Joins New England Revolution

The Boston Globe reported that Scott Caldwell signed with the pro soccer team.

The New England Revolution announced Friday that they signed Braintree native Scott Caldwell to a "homegrown contract."

Twenty-one-year-old Caldwell played a season at Milton Academy before joining the United States U-18 squad, according to a report in the Boston Globe. He played for the University of Akron, where he helped lead the team to a national championship in 2010.
