Braintree plays Natick on Friday.

Braintree High School Swimming and Diving had a meet Tuesday against Weymouth.

We came away with our first win of the season. This team has a lot of heart, and it was shown today by some outstanding swims!

Some of the highlights included:

Double winners: Johnny Magnuson ('16) (200 IM and 100 butterfly) Sarah Murphy ('16) (200 free and 500 free) and Matt Gaffney ('16) (100 free and 100 breaststroke.) All of these swimmers qualified for Sectionals.

Also, winning the diving was Senior Captain, Erin Shea ('14), with a State Qualifying score of 192.

Our next meet will be Friday at Keefe Tech vs. Natick.
