Ashley Russell, a senior at Braintree High School who plays point guard on the basketball team, has agreed to attend University of Pennsylvania, reported ESPN. Russell is the Gatorade Player of the year and ESPN Boston Miss Basketball.
The Wamps this year won the south sectional and the MIAA Division I State Championship. Russell led the categories for points, rebounds, assists and steals.
