Braintree Girls' Basketball Will Play for State Championship
Braintree High School's girls' basketball team is headed to the state finals.
Braintree High School's girls' basketball team defeated Lynn English Monday night, 59-41, in the first round of the MIAA Division I state playoffs.
That means Braintree will take on the winner of tonight's match-up between Westford Academy and Springfield Central. The game is scheduled to begin at 5:45 p.m. at the Mass Mutual Center in Springfield.
The date and time for the state final has not yet been set.
