UPDATE: Braintree Athletics Hosting Welcome Back Weekend

Braintree High School is hosting the weekend, starting at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 17.

UPDATE: From Athletic Director Michael Denise:

The boys and girls cross country meet vs. Cohasset/Hull has been moved from this Saturday, to Friday, Sept. 23 at Cohasset, 3:45 p.m.

The Girls Varsity and JV Field Hockey contest scheduled for this Saturday, Sept. 17, has been moved from to Braintree High School. Game time will remain the same.

The Athletic Department will host “Welcome Back Weekend” on Saturday, Sept. 17, beginning at 9 a.m.

“Welcome Back Weekend” is designed for students, faculty and staff, parents and community supporters, to come out and cheer on our athletes and teams during a number of sporting events that highlight the opening weekend of the school and athletic year.

The schedule of events is as follows:

9 a.m.

Boys Freshman Soccer vs. Westwood

Girls Freshman Soccer vs. Westwood

10 a.m.

Girls Junior Varsity Volleyball vs. North Attleboro                          

Girls Freshman Volleyball vs. North Attleboro                                

Girls Cross Country vs. Cohasset/Hull at East Middle School            

Girls Varsity Field Hockey vs. East Bridgewater at East Middle School 

10:30 a.m.

Boys Cross Country vs. Cohasset/Hull at East Middle School 
      
11 a.m.

Girls Varsity Soccer vs. Dracut  

Girls Junior Varsity Soccer vs. Dracut

11:15 a.m.

Girls Junior Varsity Field Hockey vs. East Bridgewater at East Middle School

11:30 a.m.

Girls Varsity Volleyball vs. North Attleboro

1 p.m.

Boys Varsity Football vs. Brookline at Stonehill College

A one-time admission fee of $ 5 for adults and $3 for students/senior citizens will be charged and allows fans to enter and exit athletic areas throughout the campus during events to display and offer their support.
