Earlier this month, in celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s birthday, Mayor Joseph Sullivan invited all Braintree elementary students to take part in a poster contest reflecting Dr. King’s ideas on civic responsibility and human equality.
This year’s theme was “Do the Right Thing.” Students illustrated what doing the right thing looks like to them.
The winning and honorable mentioned students (listed below) and their families were honored at the School Committee meeting at South Middle School Monday night.
