Tufts University recently announced the Dean's List for the Fall 2012 semester.

Dean's List honors at Tufts University require a semester grade point average of 3.4 or greater.

University of Akron

Scott Caldwell of Braintree, MA made the Dean's List at The University of Akron for the fall semester. Caldwell is majoring in Accounting.

To be eligible for Dean's List, Caldwell maintained a GPA of 3.25 or higher and was enrolled in 12 or more credit hours.

The University of Akron celebrated the achievements of its newest graduates at commencement ceremonies in December at E.J. Thomas Performing Arts Hall, 198 Hill St. President Luis M. Proenza delivered the address at each ceremony.

Worcester Polytechnic Institute

Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) has announced that Jessie Ciulla of Braintree, Mass., a freshman majoring in environmental engineering, was named to the university's Dean's List for academic excellence for the fall 2012 semester.

A total of 1,337 undergraduate students achieved the criteria required for WPI's fall 2012 Dean's List. The criteria for the WPI Dean's List differ from that of most other universities as WPI does not compute a grade point average (GPA). Instead, WPI defines the Dean's List by the amount of work completed at the A level in courses and projects.
