Tufts University
More than 3,000 students graduated from Tufts University on May 20, during the university-wide commencement ceremony with author and former Navy SEAL Eric Greitens as the speaker.

Michael Boncaldo of Braintree, MA, with a Bachelor's degree in Biopsychology cum laude and Italian.

Berklee College of Music
Roisin Byrne of Braintree participated in Berklee College of Music's 2012 Commencement held recently in Boston at Boston University's Agganis Arena. Byrne received a Professional Diploma in Music Business and Management from the President of Berklee College of Music, Roger Brown. Berklee president Roger Brown presented honorary doctor of music degrees to Rock and Roll Hall of Famers the Eagles, 27-time Grammy Award winner Alison Krauss, and innovative Ethiopian musician Mulatu Astatke. Astatke delivered the commencement address to the graduating class and an estimated crowd of more than 4,000 guests at the Agganis Arena.

Berklee College of Music announces that Marisa Duane of Braintree has earned placement on the Dean's List for the spring semester of the 2012 academic year. To be eligible for this honor, a full-time student must achieve a grade point average of 3.4 or above; a part-time student must achieve a grade point average of 3.6 or above.
The Berklee curriculum focuses on practical career preparation for today's music industry. Four-year degrees are offered in Performance, Jazz Composition, Music Production & Engineering, Film Scoring, Music Business/Management, Composition, Music Synthesis, Contemporary Writing & Production, Music Education, Songwriting, Music Therapy, and Professional Music.
