Pearl Harbor Remembrance in Braintree This Week

3,500 Americans were killed or wounded, including 1,177 on the U.S.S. Arizona, on Dec. 7, 1941.

The Town of Braintree, in keeping with its tradition of honoring all veterans, is conducting an observance for the 72nd anniversary of the attacks on Pearl Harbor on Dec. 7, 1941.

The event will be at 9 a.m. in the Cahill Auditorium in Town Hall on Friday, Dec. 6.

The Braintree High School Concert Choir will perform and there will be refreshments. Speakers include Mayor Joseph Sullivan, Veterans Agent Richard Walsh and Russell DuPuis, Sr. Chaplain, B.V.C.
