It was a "state of the town" address by the mayor.

Braintree Town Council passed a $111.9 million budget, and Mayor Joseph Sullivan broke down the numbers in what was constituted as a "state of the town" address on Tuesday night, reported the Patriot Ledger.

In his address, Sullivan reported on first responder numbers, car breaks and other crime statistics, indicating that break-ins are down in town. He also addressed numbers relating to building permits, trash fees, school enrollment, and school upgrades.
