Mayor Declares Parking Ban Ahead of Wednesday Storm

The ban will be in effect from 6 p.m. on Tuesday evening, Feb. 4 until 6 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 6.

Braintree Mayor Joseph C. Sullivan has issued an on-street parking ban in anticipation of the forecasted snow storm that will hit Eastern Massachusetts in the early hours of Wednesday.

The ban will be in effect from 6 p.m. on Tuesday evening, Feb. 4 until 6 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 6.

“I appreciate the cooperation of residents in observing this on-street parking ban which allows us to clear our roadways as efficiently as possible.  With this parking ban in effect, the Braintree Police Department is authorized to tow cars as deemed necessary” Sullivan said in a release. .  “With every storm it is our goal to return our roads to a normal state quickly and these parking restrictions have assisted us during past storms.”
