Interstate 93 South into Boston will be closed Thursday night, according to the Massachusetts Department of Transportation.

The highway closure will allow work crews to install detour signs for the Callahan Tunnel Project.

The Callahan Tunnel, which takes drivers from north of Boston to Logan Airport, will close to traffic on Friday, and it will remain closed through March 12.
