Flu Vaccines Widely Available in Braintree From Town, Other Sources

As of last week, Braintree had 23 confirmed cases of the flu, up from two last year.

UPDATED: The Braintree Department of Health still has 84 flu vaccines available for free by appointment, and an urgent care center on Granite Street also reports being fully stocked with the drug.

Last week, Braintree had 158 doses, Chief of Staff and Operations Peter Morin said. Since last fall, the town has provided 1,686 vaccines.

Because of the town's surplus, there are no plans to order more vaccines, Morin said. Residents can call 781-794-8090 to schedule an appointment.
