Demand is expected to be high so the event is by appointment only from 2:00-7:00.

The Trustees and Friends of will be sponsoring an appraisal day on Saturday, September 15, to raise funds for ongoing programs and activities.

The public is invited to bring up to three items to the Braintree for review by USPAP certified appraisers from Kelley Auctions. Both Marg-E Kelley and Michael Lynch, a coin and stamp expert, will be on hand to value items including broken gold or silver jewelry. Appraisals are $10 for 1 item, $20 for 2 and $25 for 3 however; members of the Friends will receive their third item appraised for free as a thank you for their ongoing support of the library.

Demand is expected to be high so the event is by appointment only from 2:00-7:00. A time can be reserved by stopping by the library reference desk on the lower level.

Participants are asked to book their appointments early to ensure that they receive their preferred time slot.
