Braintree High Grad, Military Pilot in Afghanistan, to Headline Veterans Day Event

The ceremony will be on Nov. 11 at 10:30 a.m.

Mayor Joseph C. Sullivan and Veterans Officer Richard Walsh invite you to attend the Town of Braintree's Veterans Day ceremony on Sunday, Nov. 11 at East Middle School. 

There will be coffee and donuts in cafeteria at 9:30 a.m. and ceremony begins at 10:30 a.m. The Guest speaker is CW4 Thomas McNulty, a 28-year military veteran who flew Blackhawks in Afghanistan and graduated from Braintree High School in 1974.

McNulty is currently an Instructor Pilot and Safety Officer at the Army Aviation Support Facility at Quonset Point in North Kingstown, RI.

Also featured on Sunday will be Braintree's various veterans organizations, the East Middle School Choir, the Braintree High School Concert Choir & Chamber Singers and remarks by Michael L. Munroe, Past Commander D.A.V. Chapter 29.
