A 53-year-old Randolph woman was arrested by Braintree police last week after allegedly driving drunk off West Street and hitting a tree.

Officers found Fanny Y. Wong unhurt 60 feet from the road near the Randolph line on Wednesday morning, Feb. 13, Chief Russell Jenkins said in a statement.

"Officer David Jordan detected a strong odor of alcohol coming from Wong and made other observations of possible intoxication," Jenkins said. "She was placed under arrest and charged with operating under the influence of alcohol."
