Weymouth Woman Arrested for Leaving Crash Scene

Victims say the woman smashed into them in a 7-11 lot.

A Weymouth woman is facing charges of leaving the scene of an accident, drinking and driving, and possessing pepper spray without a license.

Katherine B. Gorham, 46, of Weymouth, was arrested shortly after midnight on Sunday, May 18, after officers were called to the scene of a hit and run motor vehicle crash on Commercial Street near the 7-11 store, said police.

The victims told officers that Gorham had pulled into the 7-11 parking lot and struck their vehicle while parking and then went into the store. Gorham, according to police, left the store and got back in her vehicle as the victim tried to talk with her.
