Two 18-year-olds from Attleboro and Worcester were arrested by Braintree police on Sunday afternoon after allegedly stealing merchandise at the South Shore Plaza.

Yolanda O. Boateng, 18, of Attleboro and Brigitta A. Dzissah, 18, of Worcester were each charged with larceny over $250, Deputy Chief Russell Jenkins said in a statement.

Boateng and Dzissah were detained by loss prevention after they left Lord & Taylor. A search of their backpacks turned up the stolen jewelry and clothing, Jenkins said.
