Two Arrested for Intent to Distribute Drugs; Arrest for Domestic A&B

The following are excerpts from the Braintree police log. An arrest or charge does not indicate a conviction.

Friday, May 9 

  • At 9:04 a.m., police responded to pick up a hypodermic needle on Allen Street 
  • At 11:22 a.m., police responded to a call of suspicious activity on Independence Ave. 
  • At 12:09 p.m., police responded to a disturbance on McCusker Drive 
  • At 1:45 p.m., a report of shoplifting came in from Granite Street 
  • At 12:12 p.m., police responded to 21 Connelly Circle for a drug law violation. Abigail Mena, 19, 3 Ridgewood St., Dorchester, was arrested and charged with possession of Class A drug with intent to distribute, possession of a Class B drug with intent to distribute, and conspiracy to violate controlled substance laws. Jeffrey Medina, 23, Dudley Street, Apt. 26, Roxbury, was arrested and charged with possession of Class A with intent to distribute (two counts), possession of Class B with intent to distribute, conspiracy to violate controlled substance laws 
  • At 2:23 p.m., police responded to a larceny call at 20 Roackland St. 
  • At 2:27 p.m., police responded to a drug law violation, Union Street 
  • At 6:34 p.m., police responded to a domestic situation at 300 River St. Jesse Leib, 39, 314 Hancock St., Braintree, was arrested and charged with A&B
  • At 8:19 p.m., police responded to a domestic dispute on Franklin Street 
  • At 10:46 p.m., police responded to larceny at 350 Grossman Dr.
