Three Arrested for Larceny at South Shore Plaza, One for Disorderly Conduct

The following are excerpts from the Braintree police log. An arrest or charge does not indicate a conviction.

Tuesday, May 13

  • At 9 a.m., police responded to suspicious activity on Granite Street  
  • At 11:43 a.m., police responded to shoplifting, South Shore Plaza. George P. Crotty, 40, 190 Shute St., Everett, was arrested and charged with larceny over $250, receiving property over $250 and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle 
  • At 2:39 p.m., police responded to a B&E into a vehicle on Columbian Street 
  • At 5 p.m., police responded to a vehicle B&E on Washington Street
  • At 7:25 p.m., police responded to A&B on Pond Street
Wednesday, May 14 

  • At 4:30 p.m., police responded to a larceny at South Shore Plaza. Thomas Edward Haapaoja, 28, Apt. 2, Stearns Street, Malden, was arrested and charged with larceny over $250, possession of Class E substance
  • At 6:56 p.m., police responded to a larceny at South Shore Plaza. Kimberly Haskins, 35, 53 Intervale St., Quincy, was arrested and charged with larceny over $250
  • At 11:32 p.m., police responded to a disturbance at South Shore Plaza. Jorge Miguel Fernandez, 23, Apt. 304, John Street, Lowell, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct
