Three men were arrested on Thursday, July 25, in connection to the illegal sale of prescription medications from a Wyman Road residence.
Detectives from Braintree, Quincy and Weymouth surveilled 43 Wyman Road for several days where they noted heavy traffic in and out of the residence.
James Finn, 33, and Joseph L. West, 35, who both live at the Wyman Road home and Christopher Erler, 34 of Sharon, were charged with possession of a Class B substance with intent to distribute and conspiracy to violate the Controlled Substances Act, according to a release from Braintree Police Chief Russell Jenkins.
Jenkins said Finn was additionally charged with distribution of a Class C substance and possession of a Class C substance, while West was additionally charged with two counts of distribution of a Class B substance and possession
At the time of their arrests, the suspects had more than 200 prescription pills and over $1,500 in cash.
During the surveillance, a 29-year-old Holbrook woman arrived and left quickly. The woman, who has not been named because she has not yet been charged, was stopped nearby. She was in possession of four Oxycodone pills and made a statement where she obtained the pills.
Jenkins said the woman's four-month-old daughter was in the car during the vehicle stop.
After executing a warrant on the home, police found 76 Oxycodone pills as well as Adderall, Xanax and Klonopin in West's bedroom. Detectives located 93 Oxycodone pills and two Klonopin pills in Finn's room. In Erler's vehicle, 20 Gabapentin pills and nineteen Xanax pills were found.
